At the Clinical Vision and AI Lab (C-VAIL), we’re on a mission to make AI a trusted partner in healthcare, not just a black box. Based at Northern Arizona University, our team develops computer vision and deep learning systems that tackle medicine’s toughest challenges: From detecting disease in medical images to predicting patient outcomes. We don’t just build accurate models, we build accountable ones! Ensuring that when a doctor makes a life or death decision, they can trust the AI standing beside them.
